KidsVax® (KV) is run by a group of people with considerable experience helping states manage funds for universal purchase programs, so all children can receive vaccines at no charge, including the privately insured:

Fred PotterCEO & Founder

Fred has served a broad range of both nonprofit and commercial clients. On the commercial side, he has managed over $3.5 billion in mergers and acquisitions. On the nonprofit side, he has led teams that provide health insurance coverage for the uninsurable in New Hampshire, and helped close childhood immunization funding gaps in New Hampshire, Washington, Maine, Vermont, Alaska, Rhode Island.

Fred is a past president of the New Hampshire Bar Association. He also has served as the CEO and executive director of the Christian Legal Society, which for more than 50 years has helped Christian attorneys integrate their faith and practice through attorney and law student fellowship programs, law student mentoring, advocacy of religious freedom, and legal aid services for the poor and needy.

Fred earned a B.A. from Harvard College, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. Over the years, he has served on the boards of several private and publicly-held corporations. He and his wife, Mertie, a professor of psychiatric nursing, have three children and six grandchildren.

A.J. CoukosDeputy Executive Director

A.J. earned his B.A. with honors from the University of New Hampshire, after having served as the Student Body President his senior year. He has studied broadly, including concentrations in political science, philosophy, psychology, and divinity. Prior to joining KidsVax, A.J. gained several years of valuable experience in the financial services industry, including his most recent position as Director of Financial Reporting at a financial advisory firm. He is currently enrolled in a Master of Public Health program and is on track to become one of our regional vice presidents around the time he completes his degree.

David B. PelletierCFO

Dave earned a B.A. in Business from Cornell University and a MBA from the University of Colorado. Dave has worked for several Fortune 500 companies both domestically and internationally. He has started and served as CEO of a company serving the appliance industry. Dave has served for 12 years as President/CEO of a NH based business. Throughout his career, Dave has been on the adjunct faculty of four different universities in four states and has lectured in the Cornell entrepreneurship program.

Megan StarkweatherFinancial Analyst

Megan earned a B.S. in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University. She worked in public accounting for 15 years prior to joining the KidsVax team. During that time, she worked with a broad range of businesses, nonprofit organizations and individuals. She resides in southern New Hampshire, and is the proud mother of four sons.

Heather VeenExecutive Assistant, Paralegal

Heather holds an A.A. in Legal Assistant studies from Shasta College in California. She has extensive legal assistant experience working with state, federal, supreme, and appellate courts in various aspects of law. She was a Board member of the Oak Run Union School District Board of Trustees, and was Vice President of the Redding Legal Professionals Association in California.

Terry MillsExecutive/Management Assistant

Terry holds an A.S. in General Studies from New Hampshire Technical Institute (NHTI) and an Honors Certificate as a medical secretary from New Hampshire’s Thomas Secretarial School. Since the late 1980’s, she has had a diversified career supporting small businesses and non-profits in many professions including the legal, health care, and academic professions.

Matthew MillerClient Services Coordinator

Matt has held multiple different positions within the financial industry, the banking industry, and in higher education, where he most recently worked for a non-profit organization specializing in student loans. He has also spent many years serving his local church in Concord, NH in their Worship Arts Ministry, both as a leader and a team player. He joined the KV team in September of 2015 and is the Client Services Coordinator for the company.

Consulting Staff

Peter M. SmithFinancial Analyst

Peter earned a B. S. in Business Management from Oral Roberts University and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from Regent University. He is a licensed CPA in Virginia and currently resides in Ontario, Canada. Peter’s role as financial analyst for KV draws on his strong background in technology solutions for finance’s and accounting. In addition to his role at KV, he serves as financial analyst for all KV managed states and as KV’s internal auditor. He also works as CFO of the Christian Legal Society.

Norman E. RobergeAccountant

Norm has run his own public accounting firm for more than 30 years, focusing on personal tax and small business clients, public water utilities, large nonprofit organizations, and a publishing industry technology company. He is a charter member of his local Lions Club and has served as treasurer of the New Hampshire Lion’s Sight and Hearing Foundation. He is also a past trustee at his local library and current trustee of the trust funds for the town of Dunbarton, New Hampshire, where he and his wife, Claire, live. The Roberges have a married daughter and two grandchildren.

Extended Team

KV’s staff are ably assisted by technical, design, and other resources under contract to serve KV and KV’s clients. By using an extended network of specializing talent who serve the needs of clients on an as-needed just-in-time basis, KV is able, cost-effectively, to deploy best practices across all operations.
